If you would be able to do anything and know that you would not fail, what would you do? That particular question was posed to the congregation by my pastor one Sunday morning and caused me to really think about my life. Am I living for God the way that he would want me to? If he gave me a task to do would I be able to fulfill that task no questions asked?
So I gave it some thought and prayer and believe that God has laid it on my heart to minister to young individuals about Him. On that one Sunday, God impressed upon my heart that he wanted me to write my story about the struggles I had searching for meaning in my life dealing with depression and anxiety as a result of some traumatic things that happened earlier in my life.
My many years of searching led me to the one true answer that could fix anything broken in my life, and He is God. He had a plan for me before I was formed in the womb and he wants each one of his children to know this truth. This is why I do what I do, giving God the glory all the way.
Currently, I hold a Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems Management and am a Technical Writer for a healthcare automation company outside of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
I love to write on a technical level, but my passion is for writing creative things that God lays on my heart and posting them on my blog page. Currently, I am working on my first book and am planning to attend a writing conference in July where I will hopefully meet with a few publishers to share my ideas.
I have many hobbies that include playing with my kids, reading, and counted cross-stitching. I also enjoy nature hikes with my family and white water rafting with my hubby in the warmer days of summer.
